If you can’t afford the mansion, you can still own luxury goods for cheaper prices except you will have to work a little harder to find the deals and avoid the fakes/knockoffs in the process.

Things you may want to know….

Where to shop for brand names for cheaper prices.  

• Factory outlet malls
• Ebay
• Thrift stores or consignment stores in wealthier areas of town whether at home or on vacation.
• Google “clearance  ______”   (prada, armani, etc. or whatever you are looking for)
• Craigslist, newspaper ads, etc.
• Designer clearance stores like: Nordstrom’s the rack, Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Century 21
• Other than after Christmas sales or after Thanksgiving sales (U.S.) many stores offer discounts on long weekends, May through August.
• If you are visiting a city where gambling is prevalent like Las Vegas, you may want to check out the Factory outlet stores, pawn shops, consignment stores, etc.  
• Price comparison sites like pricegrabber, froogle, priceCanada, can also be helpful or you can google. “compare prices” to come up with many other sites you can use too.
• Auctions and estate sales.
